Installation in the studio I (2023)

Photography , installation , ready-made

Tel Aviv - Jaffa , Israel.

I transformed my studio into a space that exists solely in relation to the photography it contains. Within this space, an image from an abandoned hotel is displayed showing remnants of human actions that are embodied in acts of intervention or vandalism. These remnants led to the appearance of an accidental "installation".

The source of the actions I performed, rests on the photography itself and the relationship that exists between the studio space and the photographed hotel room. The actions are used as a clue or as evidence for the viewer and as a result, the line between accidental and intentional becomes blurred. The lack of action, moreso the neglect, led me to perform an act of vandalism, accelerating the potential future.
